Manuscript preparation guidelines
ESSA2013 follows the following submission procedure:
- We request authors to upload PDF files only;
- Full paper submissions should be 10-12 pages long;
- Extended abstract submissions should be 4-5 pages long (in order to unify the layout of abstracts that will be distributed for the conference we strongly encourage you to format your contribution using the same the same latex/ms word template as is used for full papers. The templates can be downloaded here in the Instructions for Authors tab on the page: http://www.springer.com/series/11156);
- Poster submissions should contain 1-2 page abstract (in order to unify the layout of abstracts that will be distributed for the conference we strongly encourage you to format your contribution using the same the same latex/ms word template as is used for full papers. The templates can be downloaded here in the Instructions for Authors tab on the page: http://www.springer.com/series/11156). The preferred size of posters presentations for ESSA 2013 conference is A1. This is also the maximum allowed size, smaller sizes are acceptable.
Full papers submission rules
Full papers will be published by Springer in the conference proceedings series "Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing" and must follow Instructions for Authors given on Springer website. If you are using Latex, please use llncs.cls class file from lllncs2e.zip package. If you are using Microsoft Word, please format your paper according to splnproc1110 template. In particular please note that there is 12 pages limit per submission and that the volume will be printed in black and white (halftones). Colored pictures are welcome in the electronic version. If you send colored figures that are to be printed in black and white, please make sure that they really are also legible in black and white. Some colors show up very poorly when printed in black and white.
Signature of Springer copyright form given in file copyrighttransfer.doc is mandatory for publication. One author may sign the form on behalf of the other authors. In this case, the author signs and accepts the responsibility for releasing this material on behalf of any and all co-authors.
The corresponding author will be contacted by the typesetting partners SPS before the book is due to leave the printing office in order to check the final version of their paper. She or he will be contacted by SPS from the following e-mail address: typesetting@sps.co.in.
If we do not receive the signed copyright form, your contribution will be included in the book of abstracts and not in the Springer series. The book of abstracts will be distributed during the conference on pendrive. No copyrights are claimed in this case.
Please make sure that you upload to EasyChair the following items before 2013-05-20:
- The final sources including any non-standard fonts and figure files;
- A final PDF corresponding exactly to the final sources;
- A photocopy (scan) of Springer copyright form, signed by one author on behalf of all of the other authors of the paper;
- Information about the correct representation of authors' names, where necessary.
